Alyssa Snyder was born and raised in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2007. While at Madison, she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and studied for a semester abroad at Imperial College in London.

Following her undergraduate studies, Alyssa attended Drake University Law School, graduating with honors in 2011. She was admitted to practice law in the State of Iowa in 2011.

During law school, Alyssa served as a class representative for the Student Bar Association and was a member of Delta Theta Phi. In 2010, she was awarded the Iowa Taxpayers Association Weindruch Scholarship for outstanding accomplishments in the business law area.  Additionally, Alyssa spent two years as a law clerk for a Des Moines-area law firm, focusing primarily in the field of workers’ compensation. 

Alyssa is a member of the Iowa Bar Association, Iowa Association of Justice, Iowa Employment Lawyers Association and National Employment Lawyers Association.
