Bryan O’Neill was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in Dubuque, Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University in 2001. While at Iowa State, he was a member of the Iowa State Men’s Swim Team. After spending several years as a high school teacher, Bryan attended Drake University Law School, graduating in 2011 with Honors, and was named Order of the Barristers. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Iowa in 2011.

During law school, Bryan was a member of the ABA National Moot Court Team, a staff member on the Moot Court Board, and a student attorney with the Drake Law Appellate Clinic. Additionally, Bryan spent two years as a law clerk for Roxanne Conlin & Associates, P.C., focusing primarily in the field of employment discrimination.

Bryan is a member of the Iowa Bar Association, Iowa Association of Justice, Iowa Employment Lawyers Association, National Employment Lawyers Association, and the Blackstone Inn of Court.

Bryan and his girlfriend Katie live in Des Moines. He enjoys Iowa State Cyclone football, Chicago Cubs baseball, and listening to Pearl Jam.
